Your privacy is important to us.

You may be asked, at your discretion, to provide personal information such as name, address, other contact information as well as payment and shipping information during the process of creating an account with us or making an order for our products.

Any person or business Who would disclose your personal payment information are dicks. We at Trevor’s Own flavor company are not a bunch of dicks. We will NEVER sell, trade, or disclose payment information to anyone ever. 

TOFC values your privacy and personal information. We will not distribute your personal contact or order information, IP address or ANY information to any 3rd party without your express permission (which we have no intention of asking for) and we will always treat your privacy as our own.

Reviews posted on our various websites or media platforms may be used in advertisement however we will not post personal information other than a first and last name (or initial), State of residence and the comments made. Even if the comments are not very nice, we will remain as we always are… not total dicks. 

Data collected by our webhost (GoDaddy or affiliates) is subject to their privacy policy, so you should check those out. TOFC does not assume any liability for what GoDaddy does with information THEY collect. All we can promise is that WE won’t do anything with your data/information that you wouldn’t want us to do. We will contact you to sell you more delicious syrups. That’s pretty much all.

Media and comments:

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Comments made on this website will record your IP address. It’s the internet. There’s nothing I can do. Don’t be an ass about things and make comments that are improper and think you are 100% anonymous.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Other than the kind of thing that happens when you request information or password resets, we won’t be sharing your data.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. I have no idea how this works, but if you make a request, I will reach out to my web host and make them work for a living.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. otherwise, I am too busy to send it anywhere.
