Bourbon Bliss is our flagship product. The one that started it all! This syrup is aimed towards those that prefer an old fashioned, or maybe you just enjoy a little something extra! This syrup is made with a special blend of citrus and spices with notes of vanilla and cinnamon and will liven up any bourbon or whiskey! It even works well with Rum!

Although I would never be considered a connoisseur, I do love a great bourbon and more specifically, I enjoy a good Old Fashioned, but I never liked wasting an entire orange for the one drink I might be having. I found some other brands of bar syrups that were OK but I always needed to add other things such as sugars and liqueurs to get the flavor profile I was looking for and called the result a “New Fashioned”. The problem was buying all the different pre-bottled ingredients which was excessive and also expensive. I was already making my own home-brew sour mix, so I figured I would give making my own Old Fashioned syrup a shot.

Bourbon Bliss, Recipe #6 was an honest labor of love. I discovered that I really enjoyed the process of making something, and making it well, as much as the end result. It is a rewarding feeling to work on something for so long and put so much effort into it and then watching people enjoy your creation.

As a massive bourbon enthusiast if I am not drinking it neat I enjoy an Old Fashioned and am very, very, particular on the syrup I use. Typically, all you taste is sweetness but no real profiles even from the higher end mixed but Bourbon Bliss changed the game for me. I tried it and immediately purchased an entire case once it was available in bulk and will never go back to any of my previous mixes. Tried the Bourbon Bliss tonight for the first time. Let me preface by saying I usually don’t like anything in my bourbon, not even ice. That may have just changed. 2 oz bourbon, 1oz Bliss is excellent. Just enough sweetness and incredible flavors. Adding 2 ice cubes actually caused all of the flavors to blossom. A wonderful “New Fashioned”.
